Indalopreneur Just Transition Enterprise Programme (i-JTEP) Upscale Impact Video

The Indalopreneur Just Transition Enterprise Programme (i-JTEP) Upscale is a pilot initiative under the Sector Job Resilience Programme (SJRP) for the coal value chain, implemented by Indalo Inclusive in close collaboration with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) and the Provincial Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs (DARDLEA). The programme supported 16 selected enterprises working in the water, energy, and agricultural nexus, offering 4–6 months of tailored capacity building through the Indalovator and New Venture Creation workshops and mentorship. Targeted at entrepreneurs in South Africa's coal-affected municipalities including Steve Tshwete, eMalahleni, Msukaligwa, and Govan Mbeki municipalities. The i-JTEP Upscale was aimed at growing just transition enterprises that create jobs, build community resilience, and support workers and communities affected by the shift away from coal.
