This Newsletter provides an overview of capacity building workshops that were delivered by the TIPS during 2025 to sub-national government officials in the following provinces: Free State, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Limpopo.
You will also be able to read more about the Komati Community and Stakeholder dialogue, and a tourism study in the coalfields region of Mpumalanga that forms part of TIPS`s research on economic diversification. The study reviews the state of tourism in the area, lessons from post-mining tourism elsewhere in the world, and potential development pathways for tourism in the Coalfields.
