JUST SA is funded by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) as part the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the Federal Government of Germany, and in partnership with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) as the political partner. It is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through a consortium comprised of GIZ, the Trade & Industrial Policy Strategies (TIPS), the National Business Initiative (NBI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature South Africa (WWF), in close collaboration with the Mpumalanga Green Cluster Agency (MGCA) and Indalo Inclusive South Africa.
